Undrowned

Just when I thought I could breathe, Why did you have to pull me underwater? Why did you have to blind me, When I've just spotted the light at the end of the dark tunnel? Were the screams I suppressed too loud for you? Were the oceans I crossed not deep enough? They say only a diamond cuts a diamond, Maybe that’s why I turn to pain to dwindle my anguish. I’d rather rest in peace forever than die each day.

I've lived a thousand lives

I have lived a thousand lives and knew the road to take but I always tripped in the same ditch and never glimpsed what lay beneath do I trip again or do I escape? I have seen a thousand people being the same person The man with gloomy eyes, I recognize him not him alone, but countless like him Girls laughing, I listen to them not these girls, but others like them A kid with ruined dreams, I observe him not his eyes, but his hopes grim I have seen it all, in this nightmare the wheel of life, spinning a lie I have seen them all before and I despise them all

Creeds or Screams of my Soul

Patience is not the absence Of fury in your heart You only show patience When you don't burn down the world Even when rage burns in your veins

Souls for Sale

Image
We've all heard stories of people selling their souls to the devil to get what they want. But those stories also warn us not to do it. Why wouldn’t people sell their souls? Isn’t it a great deal? You get everything you want, and you just have to give up one thing - your soul, which some might think is worthless.  We're already losing our souls to life anyway, so why not give it to the devil and get what we deserve? Would we be any different after we sell our souls? It will be the same old us in the same old world, maybe just a little bit happier. If we do become happier after selling our souls, aren't souls actually a burden then? Doesn't matter whether you sell your soul or not, you are bound to become soulless over the years.
